I usually just end up spectating to see how she does and try to fool around with her a bit. She doesn't like any fps's or online games in general. When she starts playing a rpg I know to try and find something to fill the time while she plays. We've been thinking about finally moving in together and see how that works out. But I'm still a little nervous about the whole thing.

My girlfriend is a gamer. Like a real gamer (Her favorite games is Shadow of the Colossus, Okami and Metal Gear Solid 3). And I have to say it's great. But there's been a few times where she'd be a little too caught up in playing a game and it'll feel like I'm being a bit ignored. But it's happened to her a few times as well when she's trying to talk to me about one of her friends and I'm playing TF2 or SF4.

She's great though and we have a lot in common. Been together for 2 yea...

I just looked up this game and it looks very interesting. It wasn't on my downloadable gaming "lookout" list but now it is. The presentation and coop looks cool as well as the level design/visual aesthetics.

I've been talking about SC: Convictions since it looked like a modern day Assassins Creed last year. I'm a Ps3 owner only (for now) and I like Splinter Cell. Stealth games is actually one of my favorite genre's and that includes SC. The new Splinter Cell looks amazing. Splinter Cell feeling but with a bit more of a open world hitman kind of vibe to it.

I'm surprised you didn't enjoy MGS4 then since it had so much emphasis on action instead of the series mainstay of stealth.

And everyone remains happy except for people like me who just want Kojima to make a new IP or a next Gen Snatcher remake.

I was going to comment about homosexuals being persecuted during the olden days but I was pretty sure you were going to bring up that point and I didn't want to add much more to my paragraphs so I left it out. But I do agree with your sentiment on the severity of backlash they received. But now it's like it's no big deal. At least over here in New York.

Bubbles for the brief discussion. Enjoy Infamous. I won't be picking it up for awhile myself. A little low on funds and I owe my...

I can't say I agree with you chris. My sister is a lesbian and she's endured no Ridicule what so ever. No family has turned their back on her etc. And I know the reason WHY she's a Lesbian and it's not the fact that she was "born" like that but rather her never having real womanly love growing up and other stuff she's had to deal with. I've talked with her in depth about this.

While I can somewhat agree with the sentiment of liking the prejudice because of their sexual...

How is Guile's crouching hard punch? I remember it was pretty much the bee's knee's SF2 and if you had trouble with his flash kick his crouching punch was also pretty good.

Me being a Rose guy and her Soul throw being useful only if your opponent is jump happy since it gets beat by virtually anything.

Sagat from what I played isn't overpowered. On most lower levels he's predictable. Once you get in close on him they get frantic. Now a rushdown Sagat that knows half of what he's doing is a different story.

On the flowchart ken I laugh at them. In fact I usually just practice my combo execution after they're landing from a missed medium/hard punch shoryuken. Or the advanced version when they try to cross you up but do the same combo with medium kick.

Ryu on the ot...

Excellent points. But games aren't just like real life. People you could have pissed off one day you might be helping the next day. Things are in a constant flux, so are relationships. Patching things up or creating feuds or just settling on a middle ground with someone.

Perception others have of you goes to more than just a good guy/bad guy. Some people you just might have a neutral opinion about not exactly loathing or liking you. As far as a video game example having to fight...

Look at some of the iterations of batman. Or the movie boondock saints or death wish. Some people will view you as doing something good and others as something bad. While others remain in the middle of how they respond towards your actions.

If you play "evil" why wouldn't more shadier npc's and groups be attracted to you? Maybe even try to incorporate you into their fold. Or the denizens that enjoy the chaos of the city would herald your efforts to keep things as they a...

I want neutral. We've had this discussion already about morality in video games that give you a choice some time again and I'm usually one of those neutral people. I usually play within int gray zone on my first run through. Not being a complete d**k but not being a saint either. Or in games like Infamous where it's either or, I choose to be evil.

How can a title be triple "A" before it even comes out? Isn't how good a game is determined AFTER it releases?

Interesting theories. Except 2 flaws maybe.

The scout at the beginning was trying to just PULL the door open without even trying to enter in the code. Even though the code was just "1, 1, 1, uhhh 1".

When you see the Spy shoot the Engy through the heard there's another gunshot fired even AFTER the engy falls dead. It could have easily been a Blue Scout offscreen.

Lastly. Look at how the Scout twirled the butterfly knife. He wasn't doing so ba...

I doubt the chick in the video was the Scout's real mom considering the big reveal at the end.

But this DOES makes my theory of Pyro being a crazy/jealous ex lover of the spy sound more feasible.

So true. If Agent 47 could take out his target in a room full of look a likes with the SLIGHTEST differences he would definitely know Altair wasn't a scholar.
